⁵⁸In derivations, usually everything that has a value “0” (or its alter ego “$\infty$”) simplifies derivations quite a bit, because lots of things tend to disappear. On calculators, however, it is often a bit more difficult because they are bad at handling “$\infty$” or “0”.
